Aerlot is a fast and open messenger where users can create an account without a phone number—simply sign in with your email and instantly start chatting.
📌 Privacy Policy
- Email Address: We collect your email to authenticate your account via One-Time Password (OTP).
- Profile Data: Username and optional profile picture.
- Messaging Data: Messages are stored securely to enable syncing across devices. We do not analyze content for ads.
- Transaction Data: All payments are processed via Paystack. We do not store your credit card details.
2. Screenshot & Privacy Protection
If enabled, Aerlot blocks screenshots and screen recordings on both sides of the conversation to protect your privacy.
3. How We Use Data
We use your email strictly for authentication, service delivery, and fraud prevention. We never sell your data.
📌 Terms of Service & Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
1. Acceptable Use
By using Aerlot, you agree NOT to:
- Engage in fraudulent activities or impersonate others.
- Use the platform for “phishing” or soliciting unauthorized payments.
- Distribute malicious software or illegal content.
- Attempt to bypass security or screenshot protections.
2. Payments & Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed securely through Paystack. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Unauthorized use of financial instruments (stolen cards) will result in an immediate permanent ban.
3. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time. This action is permanent and removes all messages from our servers.
